Comms cut in and out in party

I have been getting alot of problems with communicating with my friends on xbox while in a party. Their voice cuts in and out which makes it nearly impossible to understand them. It seems like the only fix we've found is to both completely unplug our consoles
and once we plug back in the comms will work properly. BUT the next time we boot up to start a party the issue is back and their voice is cutting in and out again.

I've talked to support once and they tried indicating it was because my console was in a surge protector instead of the outlet directly. That wasn't the solution. I thought it was maybe NAT issues. My friend solved his and mine is open. That's not the solution.
And its not the headset (does the same with a completely different headset). We have had little success in all attempts to remedy this allnd I'm hoping someone else has had this happen and found the fix. It's getting tiring having to start up only to have
to shut down and unplug my console then restart again every time I want to party up with a friend.

EDIT: Even both of us doing a hard restart (both unplugging console) still has not solved the issue. Just tried it now and the comms still stutter.

Party chat randomly cuts out

For the past week or so I've not been able to talk to friends in party chat because they randomly cut off for a long period of time but they can all hear what I say and none of them have this problem. I've tried all the suggested things to do I.E Get them
to run connection tests, resetting router, resetting connection settings to default etc. NONE of this has seemed to make ANY difference whatsoever and talking to my friends while I play games with them is one the major things I do on Xbox so not being able
to do this is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Can someone please help!
