    Comms bans because of profanity


    We need to start a petition against Xbox's profanity policy. Years ago no one got banned for cursing in game in party or in messages why all of a sudden are we constantly being monitored so little 12 year old jacky boy who curses like a sailor while playing
    an M rated game can bring down the ban hammer for someone saying something back to him about how he's talking or playing the game. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me.

    Communication ban for no reason? Please Help

    You can find enforcement actions on your account by checking here: http://enforcement.xbox.com

    Log in with your Xbox/Microsoft account, and click the big orange hammer on the left. You can request a detailed explanation of your comm-ban if you are able to submit a case review.

    I don't know for sure, but maybe the XBLPET deleted the violating message after they issued your comm-ban. Usual scenarios for comm-bans include profanity over the mic and/or text messages to other players.

    except that yes the rated e for everyone rule has always been around

    And yes all services not just Xbox suspend for profanity also

    Game content is irrelevant

    Online interactions must remain rated e for everyome

    You can suibmitt a case review if over 24hours at enforcement.xbox.com

    The comment about the other player you do realize you can report him also and he would be punished too

    You've always been suspended for swearing on live.You may of got away with in the past because you weren't reported but the rules haven't changed.

    The age rating on a game has nothing to do with xbox live,everything you do on live must be rated E for everyone.

    You've always been suspended for swearing on live.You may of got away with in the past because you weren't reported but the rules haven't changed.
