    Comms Ban Lifted but unable to send messages or talk to friends in party


    An account on our Xbox received a comms ban 2 weeks ago.

    The ban was lifted to day at 5:12 pm.

    It's currently 6:26pm and I'm still receiving messages stating I'm unable to message or speak in parties, or even play online games

    I've attempted several hard-restarts (plug in back/ Holding power button down) and nothing works.

    While I don't think it's fair my account is punished because we share an Xbox but we're just attempting to resolve the issue so we can all play.

    I'd appreciate some help.

    Communication ban lifted. Still can't communicate.

    So my ban was lifted but I still can't send messages or talk in party. Yes I've redownload my account. Any help would be great thank you

    It sounds like you may still have a suspension on your account that was added during your initial suspension. When you get a chance please check out
    Enforcement.xbox.com for any details on suspensions. If you don't see any info there, please check your e-mail for communication on this. Let us know what you see Comms Ban Lifted but unable to send messages or talk to friends in party :)

    It sounds like you may still have a suspension on your account that was added during your initial suspension. When you get a chance please check out
    Enforcement.xbox.com for any details on suspensions. If you don't see any info there, please check your e-mail for communication on this. Let us know what you see :)

    what do you mean? Are you not able to send messages or is your console banned? Because I'm not able to send messages after a one day ban that has been lifted a week ago. I can only talk in overwatch and not in parties.

    if you sent messages and invites successfully then you are not comm banned as that ban prevents sending messages.

    could you hear your friends in party chat?

    is your mic/headset wired or wireless?

    can you try the headset with a different controller?

    can you try a different mic/headset?

    So this guy called me a [mod removed] and I reported him and he didn’t get banned but when I call him a [mod removed] I get a 4 day ban it’s not fair

    If they are unable to send messages, invite to parties or talk in a game.
