Discus and support Comms Ban/enforcement dispute in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I loaded into a game of fortnite on “save the world.” One of the other players kept trying to start the mission without allowing us to build any...     Comms Ban/enforcement dispute


    I loaded into a game of fortnite on “save the world.” One of the other players kept trying to start the mission without allowing us to build any defenses to allow us to pass. I posted in game chat to quit,as I couldn’t even attempt to build as I had to continuously
    cancel the mission start. So to solve this issue I simply quit and went to loading a new one,a player messages me stating I was being reported,I asked why and he implied I was then the one causing issues in game,I explained my case as I was NOT the one doing
    it and he kept antagonizing me trying to get me to do something that he COULD legit report me. Well he succeeded and got under my skin causing a response that consisted of “report the player who was actually causing the problems,the f*** outta here with that.”
    I do realize i messed up by sending the “f” word and I apologize, he just REALLY got under my skin By trying to falsely report me.

    Your friend didn't get you comms banned.Only the enforcement team can ban/suspend someone.

    You received a comms suspensions it's because you violated the ToU/CoC.

  3. How do I talk to someone from enforcement team other than case reviews?

    The Xbox enforcement website is not listing bans and their end dates on the enforcement history page. It shows 2 bans on my account, one for comms the other for Xbl. These end on the 8th August. I got these bans around the 23rd of July.

    After chatting with Xbox support it shows that I have a console ban till the 23rd September.

    After filing my case reviews it turns out that I have a comms ban for 100 days.

    Are there any other ways to contact the enforcement team?

    I tried and even called support and explained the case review wouldn’t work on my phone (only access to browser) and he stated that I make a post here in the forums

    I forgot to mention the case review would not work on my mobile phone,which is my only access to browser, so I called Xbox support and they directed me here to create a forum post

    Unfortunately support is known for giving incorrect information about enforcement issues. The case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. They do not use the forums. However, even with a case review, because you said something that violates
    the code of conduct, it's highly unlikely the suspension would be lifted.

    terrific. So one mistake after 13 years of the SAME,LOYAL account, and I get a week ban ? Totally fair. I even tried apologizing to the guy that was intentionally trying to get me banned.

    Hey there! Issues wise, we can't really do much. I mean, I could contact one of the devs and let them know about that. Support is kinda known for telling people to come here, but you cannot appeal bans here anymore. Do you have a computer? If not you may
    try a public computer ie: Library, Community Centre, ect.

    If you need further help don't hesitate to ask me.

    you can appeal but it has to be moderated like every services only xbox allows for appeal

    You could never appeal on forums you could ask questions once and get a quick locked answer but never interactive like the website

    The old appeal process was one most people wouldn't take because it literally said if we confirm the suspension you will be console baned

    Yes you could. Case Review only became a thing in 2015. Before that all ban issues where dealt with on the forums. See: Best of the
