Commerciale Use of Xbox Console

I'm sorry if my english is bad, i'm french and i use google trad to write this.

Maybe some people have knowledge of E-sport bar. This is a bar where you can play AFTER purchase a drink. I have play in, it's really fun and original. But, after searching some informations about it, i have found this in "terms of use" Xbox :

"15. EXCLUSIONS FROM SERVICE Microsoft reserves the right to refuse Service or consider as out-of-warranty, Microsoft Devices that are: (1) damaged by use with products not sold or licensed by Microsoft (including, for example, games or software and accessories
not manufactured or licensed by Microsoft, and “pirated” games or software, etc.); (2) used for commercial purposes (including, for example, rental, pay-per-play, etc.)"
So i don't understand if they got the right or not ? Maybe had they an autozisation ? or maybe is it because in their way of proposing consoles ?

My questions is not innocent, because i would like create a video games room but i wont be in illegality.

Hey Mr Squidga!! Didn't mean to worry you!!!! Should be a sticker on the back near the inputs or perhaps the bottom. That will have the serial number on it. Just check it on the above link and you're good to go. I've seen lots for sale without controller
(but it would help)

Puts me off selling one of my 360s too! Never thought about things like that, where is the serial number? I just inherited another 360 off a relative who's moved to the One and doesn't want to keep the 360 anymore as they won't use it. The power button has
had a hard time (it's the 250GB slim but the power button acts like an actual button -- I suspect an over reaction to losing on Madden or CoD) but it works fine, thought about selling my newer one as I don't really need 2, but I've never sold a console. Come
to think of it, I don't have the original controller... Do people buy them without controllers? I have 6 but only 2 are in good nick -- I like having 2 for co-op if a friend's round, 2 are just well used and 2 were from aforementioned relative!

This will take much more thought than previously anticipated!!

based on the part of text from the Terms of Use you posted, what is said is that hardware like consoles, controllers etc can be considered out of warranty when they have been used for commercial purposes, which basically means that not matter if the console
is a few days old when it was used in a commercial way Microsoft does not have to repair/replace the console if it is broken.

That's how I read that part.

 

Oki thank you for your answer, maybe i don't have the better part of term of use to explain my issue. Is it possible to use console in commercial purposes ? Need i an autorization ?

We recommend getting with
Public relations and asking them if you will be able to do so.

As for the legality of it all, there are many places that have consoles for use for entertainment in their businesses. We recommend really looking into it if you are going to commit to making a gaming room for people, to protect you. You can also ask the
public relations when you get with them what is best way to find out about all of this.

So in regards to your question. Of course if you own an Xbox you can have people play said console/games as this is yours. But we won't be able to provide any information in regards to Charging users to play the system.
