    So yesterday I was communication banned, which I'm cool with because I don't talk much anyway. The day I got banned I could play online just fine. Today I got on, and I can't play online. Not even on my alternate accounts. I checked my enforcement history,
    and there's nothing new. Is this a glitch? I've been comm banned before, and this never happened once. What's the deal?

    I rarely ever go into game chat, and i didnt get any message or when i look at my account nothing says im comms ban. I have had xbox live for more than 5 years and yet to have a problem. So why is my first ban more than 24 hours?

    Buying and setting up used XboxOne, will there be issues??

    If the previous owner has been banned from certain online games, would this affect the new owner? As I understand such bans are for the whole console, so that the banned person cannot just re-enter the game using another sign in and email.

    And so, if such bans were for the whole console, rather than single user, then it would no doubt affect the new owner.

    If it's past your 3rd ban you possibly could have received a online ban along with the comm ban.

    lol yeah about an hour later i get an online ban notification. Trying to deduce whether they already had that tacked on or just gave me the ban as a way to screw with me since it already did ban me

    Far as I know, comm bans only apply to the account in question and don't transfer....only time that would apply would be if it was a console ban as it would affect all accounts on that particular console.

    A comm ban would apply to any comms on the XBox Live/Microsoft network...presumably Apex use their own servers for game chat (or do they use XBL for it?).

    No clue whether your issue is because of a ban (pretty sure it just doesn't even attempt to connect if banned) or a tech issue, though given your perfect enforcement record, sounds more like a tech or settings issue

    Depends what your ban terms were. Netflix requires Xbox Live to function. If you're fully banned from the service then it won't work but if you just have a comms ban it shouldn't affect it

    Well if u were able look at my lfg history havent posted anything i got comm banned like a few weeks ago for posting something on lfg but since then havent posted anything just got comm banned for something that already was reported and already served so why did i get comm bann again when i didnt post anything the comm ban from lfg
