coming from ps4

I never expected so many replies,wow thanks guys.having now had it for a couple of days there's things I like and dislike.i like the kinect it works a lot better than I thought,very responsive.as for frame rates you could argue its negligible,obviously the
ps4 is more powerful but with news that the xbox one will unlock 8% of its gpu to speed up things is good news?I'm still getting use to the dashboard and features wise has a lot more to offer?on the other end the ps4 is a lot smaller as a console,and I agree
the pad is better.

One thing the xbox never fails on is the community and that's why I came back.i spent roughly 80 hrs playing battlefield mp with out talking to anyone it gets very lonely now I'm back I have all my friends and you guys if I need help.feel like I've slipped
on a pair of old trainers....there dirtier than the new ones but man are they comfy.

 

We're dirty trainers. Comfy and a tad smelly. I'm touched! *sniff*

 

The only people that seem to like Ryse are the people on here. Very few reviews rate it.

The ps4 lacks media streaming, which is bizarre.

 

Perhaps the best people to judge it are the ones who have played it through. Now theres a revolutionary thought.

 

You mean like many reviewers do.

 

I know plenty of people who enjoyed Ryse that don't post or visit here. Just saying....

 

To say the hype it had, I actually wasn't that satisfied with Ryse. It was absolutely beautiful but the length was just way too short. The ending (no spoilers) didn't please me either lol.

[/quote]That Is because Ryse was nothing other than a showcase to what the one can do.

 

I really enjoyed Ryse and keep popping back and re-doing missions just for fun. I also think the multiplayer is refreshingly different to what I am used too and I have met several new players teaming up with them for a couple of hours at a time. Each to
there own I guess.

That was the only problem for me, it was just way too short but thoroughly enjoyed what there was.

Me and Old Codger also put around 50 hours or so into the co-op arena so got our money worth there.

 

Highland: Hopefully there's a sequel for it. It really was nice to look at though.



Lofty: I have tried multiplayer, and I suck at it lol. The story was good but I just didn't get into it until way into the game. My main problem was I was so back and forth, moving from title to title that I kept forgetting the controls lol.

I always have that trouble when swapping between games, keep hitting the wrong buttons.

Mind you I've been playing a few strategy games on my PC recently, coming back to the console controllers is a bloody nightmare lol

 

I think of Ryse as a tech demo - same as Assassins Creed 1 was. AC2 was a quantum leap in gaming.

 

Assassin's Creed 1 was a great game but that's because it was basically Prince of Persia reskinned.

 

I hate to say it after this many years of xboxing but after using the console for a couple months I think Im out too- totally not impressed - and the stuff that its lacking is too much to swallow - I'm shocked that they bungled the hardware the
way they did - they should not be allowed to call it next gen until they get the speed and resolution up to snuff. if they dont have this fixed by my next renewal Im bailing - in the meantime gotta scrounge up enough extra case to get a ps4 so i can test
it live before I ditch my xboxone, gotta see it with my own eyes there is too much bs everywhere to tell for sure.
