Coming back into Xbox fold

About 7 months ago I got rid of my Xbox due to financial reason when I decided to get another console I went with another brand but after both announced 4K outputting consoles I've decided to get a Xbox 1 s as I want a 4K Blu ray player and the other didn't
offer this so I've pre ordered the new Fifa bundle so I just want to know what good exculsive games I've missed out on since February of this year

I think they should just have a team in the background redeveloping the entire UI for xbox one and fold everything back into that, at the moment everything seems a little disjointed.

I would say across all gaming you have not missed much. If Quantum Break style games are your thing I really liked that one a lot personally. Others:

Doom - If you like a more standard shooter older style shooter

Overwatch - a very simplistic, multiplayer shooter. Easy enough that my wife did very well in it. Can get a little repetitive fairly quickly in my opinion though.

Fallout 4 - Has mods on the One. Unless you play PC which has full mods.

Outside of Quatum Break I am not sure there has been much exclusive really. And exclusive or not this has been a slow year for myself so far. Gears 4 is probably my last full price purchase on anything this year. I did pick up Oceanhorn for something
different. The only other possibility is Forza Horizon 3 just due to the wife. She wants to race around together and might buy it. These shooters I am just going to wait on.

 

Yeah going to trade fallout 4 in for fallout 4 lol

If you really like Fallout 4 I'd get the X1 version because you can use mods to spice it up a bit. Welcome back by the way.

Definitely check out Quantum Break, Ori and the Blind Forest, Inside, Forza (any of them)

 

"Mad Max" is £12.00 in the sale.

It's a great game that will keep you going a long time.

"Overwatch" is really good fun also. Brilliant shooter who's different combinations of characters, abilities and class types (as well as actual player ability) makes for a very a much deeper shooter than it's pick up and play style might suggest.

The other great thing about "Overwatch" is that you can play when you want.

The only advantage someone playing every day will have is familiarity with the maps as it doesn't follow an upgrade system that will leave new players acting as "Cannon Fodder" for those who play all the time.

If you never got "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition" it remains arguably the best value for money you'll find this gen and is still fun to play even after completing the full 1000/1000 achievements for it.

Yeah, "Max" and "Diablo" aren't brand new but they still trump most of the games released this gen so far.

^ nope, and overwatch is utter garbage too unless you like watered down poorly thought out team based shooters (team fortress 2 trumps this and how old is that game?!)

Nothing exclusive is jumping out, Maybe Quantum break if that's your thing, however multiplat shooters etc still play better on xbox live imo

Fallout, Witcher 3, DOOM, Destiny, Rocket league, Ori and Unravel have been the best games this gen (IMO)

 

"Overwatch" is the greatest shooter since "Unreal Tournament".

The different combinations of the 22 heroes, powers and abilities make for a a fresh game time and time again.

If you want to keep showing up and get a pat on the head with a new perk or a weapon upgrade then COD or HALO is is the series for you.

Of course don't take my word for it. There are 15 million of us enjoying this game worldwide.

oooh internet told you those numbers right? counter strike global offensive still gets 23million and is a FAR better shooter than overwatch.

overwatch is the furthest thing from a great shooter - its a cater to the masses bore fest with forgettable heroes and god awful balancing issues.
