Comic Book Men Season 6

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows by Treyarch and X-Men Origins: Wolverine by Raven Software are two more examples of comic book games done right. Neither is perfect but they've obviously been done with care and attention for the source material.

X-Men Destiny however took the comic books and wiped their bum on them, then turned that into a game.

Perhaps I am being unfair to Silicon Knights but I find it hard to believe that they couldn't work out the Unreal Engine when most people seem to say that it is one of the easiest game engines to work with. Personally I thought that Too Human was just tat
and they wanted someone to blame for it.

I love the TV show, comic books and the game. I only wonder if The Walking Dead game from Activision will be good, other then that I'm excited for season 3

I'd consider that comic book game, even if it does seem to be based more on the 60's TV series than the comics. I also consider the upcoming Lego LOTR to be most probably the best LOTR game to be released this gen.

As for other Comic book based games

There is The Darkness 1 and 2

Unbound Saga is set in the pages of a comic.

Green Lantern which I hear is better than the movie, but is still terrible.

Marvel Ultimate Aliiance 1 and 2

X-Men Destiny ( not sure about that title) Which I hear is not that great.

I'm loving season 3 of the walking dead, so much better than the second season. I'm only on book 3 of the comic, so the surprises are still a surprise to me.

Looking forward to the final walking dead game episode tomorrow, they've been brilliant so far.

I would read the comic book series to be completely honest with you. The show is great, but the comic book series by robert kirkman is absolutely phenomenal!
