    Come on..

Alright, so after countless hours on the phone with Comcast (my ISP), Bungie, EA and Xbox I've concluded this to my issue. There isn't a fix. I keep getting the run around and the finger pointed back and forth to different companies. Comcast sent out a new
Modem/Router to me to eliminate the possibility that my wifi card was bad. I've redownloaded my profile, power cycled the hell out of my router and even setup a static DNS. I've switched my IP address just to see if that is the issue..

    THE ISSUE:

I get online after a long and tedious day at work (where I assist customers with their products, Vizio TV's and other Vizio items), get online to play Destiny with some friends and work pals, load up Destiny only to continuously be returned to Orbit before
I'm disconnected to Xbox live. So, we switch games. Upon loading up Battlefield 4 I'll get partially through a match only to be disconnected and rewarded with more frustrations. So, just for the benefit of the doubt, we switch games again. Now, after loading
up GTA V, we play for a few minutes and I'm disconnected yet again. This occurs with me and about every other day, my bestfriend, we experience the same issue. What normally occurs before I'm disconnected for 5-10 minutes at a time, my party chat is dropped,
I'm dropped from any server of any game I'm playing, then I'm disconnected.

    THE CONCERN:

I'm hesitant to purchase an Xbox One. I have the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare edition 1 Terabyte hard drive on pre-order, but I'm so hesitant to pay the money I owe on it. I don't want this issue to reoccur on my $500 console since it is currently happening
on my $250 console. I've been a loyal Xbox customer for four years now, but this current issue making me want to switch my preorder over from my Xbox one to a PS4. I know this probably doesn't mean much, but I mean this issue has never ever occurred to me
during my duration of being a four year subscriber to gold and spending over $2000 on microsoft (More specifically, Xbox) products but it is happening now and the past week I've never experienced so much frustration. As a Vizio Tech support representative,
I would like to think that your company could be more professional about this issue and would actually be able to produce results or even inform the public with Dashboard alerts, or even during customer call-ins what Xbox and Microsoft's plan is and what they
are doing currently to fix it, or better yet, a date when Users and Customers can expect this issue to be resolved. I'm tired of Temporary fixes and not being able to clock the hours I used to.

What I Would Like to know:

What are you doing to fix this issue? Are you going to compensate all the time that I haven't been able to play Xbox? I've essentially spent three days without Live and all of its benefits, are you going to add more time to my Gold subscription? How long
do I have to wait until this issue is resolved? When should I expect this issue to be resolved? What's causing this issue?

    Temporary Fixes:

Immediately turning my Console off, then back on. Redownloading my profile. Static DNS's.

    :)

first thing I did fresh out of the service was basically move in with a couple musician buddies in Tacoma, Wa. in early '94....after a couple years it got a little crazy and I decided it was time to better myself ....moved to Idaho for college...still did
the music thing from time to time....hell, still doing it.....me and my 30-40something music pals have been haphazzardly working on an album for like 2 years now(doubt we'll ever finish though)...heh

Basically people are having a hard time signing in and some are getting disconnected often like you guys are. I imagine it'll get fixed soon.

I'm Suction's best friend and also a six year Xbox Live Gold member and Ex-M.L.G. Pro Crcuit player that he spoke about in his thread. I too have reservations about keeping up with Micrsoft's problems. I work at Gamestop where every employee has a PS3
and PS4 but nope not me, I am the only employee who has stuck with Xbox and Microsoft products. I have as well put an incredible amount of money into Xbox and it totals somewhere around $4,000+ just on games alone. Now what they do with that money is their
business however I believe the money has been wasted on useless upgrades such as:

    1. Controllers you cannot take apart to clean or repair

    2. Consoles you can cook an egg on because it gets so hot but still cannot take apart to clean or repair

    3. Security measures so extensive you can barely license transfer people you know

    4. People who ban you for putting your bio in a different language other than your own

    5. Temporary fixes that just waste the company's time

    6. On employees who don't know what the heck they are doing

    7. And much more

Among the very obvious current problems with connections through the Xbox Live servers, I had the biggest disappointment a long time ago before I had Xbox Live when I had an Xbox 360 Arcade.

I was playing one day on Saints Row when the xbox just randomly Red Ringed for no apparent reason. So I troubleshooted everything imaginable before calling Xbox services. That's when I proceeded to box up the console and send it to Microsoft and pay $100
for it to be fixed. It was quite some time before I had recieved a package from them. I unboxed the package and pulled out an Arcade with a letter from Microsoft. This is what it said and I quote:

"Thank you for sending us your console to be fixed. We are sorry for any inconvenience that it may have caused. We could not fix your Xbox 360 Arcade console because we couldn't find out what was wrong with it but we have replaced it by giving you a fully
working refurbished Xbox 360 Arcade. Thank you, the Microsoft team."

It was one thing when I didn't know what was wrong with it but when Microsoft said they didn't know what was wrong with it that is when I knew their customers could not depend on them. So overall, do I think they will fix the current issue? No. Do I think
that they will have a permanent solution to it? No. The rest of my questions are the same as my friend's thread.

    Thank you Suction!

You're far from alone, having connectivity issues with the Technicolor TC8305C and the relationship with Xbox Live. Since last week, I've seen numerous of issues related to Comcast and the TC8305C.

Can you tell me when you first started to experience intermittent disconnections to Live.

Can you go into your router's web-utility interface and find out the last time an update for the firmware was pushed out from your ISP (date).

If it's possible, could you try connect your console with a wired solution, and let us know how that goes.

The error code you're looking for would be 8015190E which would indicate a networking problem.

Note! The Technicolor TC8305C is a notorious gateway/NAT device when it comes to handle Xbox traffic over NAT traversal.

Most gateway's are not suited for multiplex inbound connections over NAT traversal. Most of these devices are by design, built with a poor standard, where NAT tables, or Portmap tables, are poorly prioritized.

    Keep us posted!

Sorry to hear it. I presume you've already tried power cycling and uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

If this is the case then you should try doing a factory reset on the console. Don't worry about your games. There is an option to do the reset without uninstalling your games.
