so I just bought red dead redemption as backwards compatible on Xbox one. I bought it yesterday, played it for awhile, then played it again today. While I was playing, I got called into work for an emergency. I left my Xbox on, left for awhile then came
back. When I got back I tried to play it again, and then I see that god forsaken message; "do you own this game or app?" I've been trying for hours, every troubleshoot possible and still nothing. (including calling). You guys are pretty quick to charge money
for games that don't work.. Not the first time I've been screwed around by Microsoft. Sucks I can't get a refund, but how would you run an honest business right?

    :)

It was understandable that you couldn't play after completing New Vegas considering all of the changes that would have to take place based on the choices you made. While in Fallout 3, what little choices you could make didn't play through after Broken Steel.
Like how the DLC completely disregards the player's choice to use the FEV virus. Fallout New Vegas is an RPG at its finest and a true Fallout game that follows the roots of the originals, just as Obsidian intended. Fallout 3 is Bethesda's depiction of Post-apocalyptic
Oblivion with guns. If anything, Fallout 3 was a lot more restrictive. You have the freedom to explore this world, yet little freedom in choice. One reason the story in Fallout 3 is lacking. That, and the rubbish dialogue.

    -

None the less, is Fallout 3's world detailed and provides more for exploration, as this is what Bethesda is best at doing for their games. That was probably the only advantage Fallout 3 had. However, in terms of being a good RPG and good Fallout game, New
    Vegas does everything right.

    -

As for Fallout 4, I just hope Bethesda learned a thing or two about Fallout from Obsidian and uses New Vegas as a role model to follow, with the combination of Bethesda's great world design. If that happens, I will be pleased with Bethesda having Fallout
in there hands. If it ends up like Fallout 3 or even Skyrim, they should just hand development over to Obsidian all together.

i would like to see some things taken from new vegas and better refined.

ammo types and related armor and whatnot are a neat idea, but make the game extremely constrictive, especially at lower levels.

i really don't want to see damage and dps numbers flip constantly when trying to figure out how good a gun is, just put them in separate boxes or let players switch them on their own.

dialog was good in nv, but how about a mix of points and percentages? i don't want to fail and speech check just because i'm one skill point off from the all or nothing check.

nerf radscoprions, nerf them to the strength of a house cat...then nerf house cats.

    bring back fo3 deathclaws.

i would love to be able to choose my race in 4, human, ghoul, super mutant, android?

Sorry to hear it. I presume you've already tried power cycling and uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

If this is the case then you should try doing a factory reset on the console. Don't worry about your games. There is an option to do the reset without uninstalling your games.

There's a service alert right now and a lot of people are dealing with this it seems.

Basically people are having a hard time signing in and some are getting disconnected often like you guys are. I imagine it'll get fixed soon.

    Come on..

    Thank you Suction!

You're far from alone, having connectivity issues with the Technicolor TC8305C and the relationship with Xbox Live. Since last week, I've seen numerous of issues related to Comcast and the TC8305C.

Can you tell me when you first started to experience intermittent disconnections to Live.

Can you go into your router's web-utility interface and find out the last time an update for the firmware was pushed out from your ISP (date).

If it's possible, could you try connect your console with a wired solution, and let us know how that goes.

The error code you're looking for would be 8015190E which would indicate a networking problem.

Note! The Technicolor TC8305C is a notorious gateway/NAT device when it comes to handle Xbox traffic over NAT traversal.

Most gateway's are not suited for multiplex inbound connections over NAT traversal. Most of these devices are by design, built with a poor standard, where NAT tables, or Portmap tables, are poorly prioritized.

    Keep us posted!

This is happening to me as well, and a lot of other people. It's frustrating because the moderators here give you stupid suggestions to follow that never even work and they give you the same. ***. instructions. over. and. over. again.
