whether we'll be able to pre download the game! I want to preorder it and download it well before the 11th so I can play it immediately when the clock strikes midnight...

We`re all just moneyboxes with a pulse to M$ I`m afraid.They dont give us what we want they tell us. Oh well, one can only hope Sony see an opportunity to tempt the unhappy ones over to the other side.

Nope. We probably won't know for awhile either (guessing late September at the earliest). Just gotta wait it out.

 

waiting.... sucks. I want the game in my xbox NOW so I can plan to be awake at midnight when it gets released to play MP. gonna try to get that day off so I can play the hell out of halo 2

 

Madden 15 can be pre download since yesterday,Fifa 15 and Forza Horizon 2 will be too,so i guess until november there is a good chance to see more game with pre order/pre download feature.

 

Madden can be pre-downloaded, BUT you cannot play it till 12 AM PST, so others would have to wait a few hours to play it, with East Coast have to wait 3 hours. If that is the case, it'd be quicker to go out to the store, buy it, and install it.

 

Well, I just downloaded destiny, so halo should be ready around end of September or October if the timing of downloads for new games is the same for halo....

 

If it works the way these pre-downloads work, you'll be able to play it at 12 AM PST

 

Destiny was made available to download about a week and a half before release. Halo may follow suit and become available November 1st.... or so I think. If anyone has info that says otherwise, 'fess up, please

 

I wonder how big of a download/installation Halo: MCC will be?

 

Just remember the digital copies don't unlock till its 12am pacific, so if your outside that time zone you have to wait, before it will let you play it.

 

That's the worst part if you're outside of that time zone. Such a turn off for doing digital at midnight.
