    Comcast xfinity DVR won't work with the one


    I just got xfinity, but I could not find the receiver to program the xbox too. It is model MX011BNM. Its the XG1-A. I was wondering how often they would update their list of receivers and tvs?

    For some reason the xbox one won't recognize my Xfinity X1 Platform box to switch channels on my cable box. Anybody else having this problem with the smaller buddy boxes as Comcast call them? I've tried entering Xfinity & Comcast and still nothing.

    Just stopped working out of the blue

    Exact same problem. Started today for me as well.

    I have an Xfinity HD DVR box from Comcast.

    Thanks for the response. I am using Comcast XFINITY for my cable and my DVR/Cable box is a Motorola. I can't get the model number, since I am at work at the moment. The error code that comes up on the cable box just says DVI.

    There's a problem with users on Xfinity/Comcast service having issues connecting to Xbox Live. Comcast is aware of the issue and working to resolve it.
