    Comcast Techniicolor router disconnection issues


    Is this modem still having issues and will these issues carry over to the xbxox one?

    Several consoles through the same router

    I have done this with two Xbox 360's and a laptop all connected to the same router. I had no issues with lag or anything. I have one of the fastest comcast speeds though, so maybe that is why.

    List of compatible routers that support two consoles?

    That is the one that I've got at one of my houses along with comcast service. It should work just fine. Although I have had some issues with mine including random disconnections but I think it is just my router because it only happens on my Netgear network
    and I know it shouldn't be doing that.

    Sorry to hear about the issue! For updates on that device, check out our Technicolor-TC8305C threads. Unfortunately these issues persist on both consoles
    with that device, as it appears to be a firmware issue. Along with keeping an eye on that thread, I also recommend contacting Comcast for extra troubleshooting steps or to inquire about replacement devices.

    I'm having the same issue with this router. I go online and start playing and it all of sudden just disconnects me. Which router would you guys suggest for a home with 3 computers, 4 iphones, and 2 xbox's that works with comcast.

    Technicolor Tc8305C is not compatible with the Xbox. It has nothing to do with Xbox because they do not manufacture that router! This is one of the few routers that has no permanent fix for the random disconnects and Comcast for some reason is still giving
    them out!!!!!!

    My xbox has issues every time I reset my router

    Wow I have the same issue and router from COMCAST/Xfinity of which they told me to contact XBOX live support. I believe the encryption has to be lowered by Comcast on the wifi/router.
