    Comcast (ISPs): Can't connect to DHCP server
    I'm trying to connect to a Xfinity Hotspot and it keeps bringing up Can't Connect to your DHCP server the signal is very strong it has 4 bars but will not connect

    Netgear: DHCP Reservation

    Netgear (Modems/Gateways): DHCP Reservation
    Login Information
    • Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username – admin or superuser (If your ISP is Comcast use “comcast”)
    • Password – password (If your ISP is Comcast use “1234”)

    Netgear Firmware



    DHCP Reservation

    1. Open web browser.
    2. Login to router by entering http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar.
    3. If prompted for a username and password enter admin or superuser for the username. For the password use password.
    4. Click LAN IP on the left.
    5. In the middle of the page you will find the DHCP Reservation Lease Info table.
    6. Enter in the MAC Address and IP Address of the Xbox.
    7. Select Add.

    Hi there,

    Please try a power cycle of your home network - that means to unplug both your Xbox and router from the power outlet for a few minutes, and to try what you were attempting again, after re-connecting. By
    default, your Xbox should automatically pick up a network connection and attempt to connect to Xbox Live.
