Combining Accounts

I know this has been asked before and the answer is Microsoft does not allow us to combine accounts.

Question is, why? So many want to do this and there have been times I have purchased a movie that I forgot I had already purchased on the other account.

Why, is Microsoft not allowing this? There must be a reason.

You can't merge accounts I'm afraid. You can promote an offline (local) account to access Live but each profile will remain a separate entity.

Hello. Unfortunately you can't combine two Xbox accounts. The only thing you could do is game share, so you can play the games and content you purchased on your friends account using yours.

You won't be able to transfer any game saves to your account.

Offline has the most gamerscore, online is the one with less....

Could I delete the online one and use my live email on the offline one then?

Apologies but completely disagree. The items are licensed to the person who purchased it.

Since one would have the username and password to both accounts and technically it is simple, the chance of, "fraud" is insignificant.
