    Combining accounts


    Hi all. Hope you can help....

    I have been playing with just an Xbox account (NOT Live) and I have a few thousand Gamerscores.

    I am now on an Xbox Live Gold trial (I already had a Live Email set up ready for going live)

    I was just wondering how I can combine the Former to the Latter? I want to put the Non-Live account onto the Live account.....

    I have a Black 360 Elite (the one in between the ring-of-death white and the Slim)

    It is on the internet via Ethernet cable going into the broadbad router

    Hope someone can help!

    Combining Accounts?

    You can't merge accounts I'm afraid. You can promote an offline (local) account to access Live but each profile will remain a separate entity.

    Me and my wife bought a xbox 360 arcade because we already had a hard drive from a previous xbox 360. We played local for a long time before we got Live. When we got a live account we now have HDD and a MU account and
    we want to combine them. Is this possible? we would just delete them but there is achievements on them. The achievements we got on the MU accounts we cannot get again on out HD accounts. It will not let us. Thanx

    Combining accounts

    Hi there,

    there is no way to combine/merge two accounts into one. The only thing you can do is to promote that offline account to an online account, which will allow you to keep that gamerscore and save games etc.

    But you will need to use a different email address for it, since there can only be one xbox live account connected to an email address (Microsoft Account).

    Which account are you using now? The one with the few thousand of gamerscore or the other one?

    Offline has the most gamerscore, online is the one with less....

    Could I delete the online one and use my live email on the offline one then?

    Hello. Unfortunately you can't combine two Xbox accounts. The only thing you could do is game share, so you can play the games and content you purchased on your friends account using yours.

    You won't be able to transfer any game saves to your account.

    Apologies but completely disagree. The items are licensed to the person who purchased it.

    Since one would have the username and password to both accounts and technically it is simple, the chance of, "fraud" is insignificant.
