Com banned without warning

i also got banned for communications as me and my friends were messing around and one of them reported my profile picture which i changed immedialey however i am live banned as well as com banned which i dont understand as i was not cheating on games or
doing anything bad on games i was playing and that happened without warning about a day after the original ban

Yes you can get banned for "modding" your gamertag/clan tag. It is exploiting and is frowned upon by Infinity Ward and Activision. From the Activision forums: “Using any kind of hack or exploit to put characters or graphics into your clan tag can result
in a suspension or full ban. You may only use the default set of characters included in the user interface”. For more information here are a few links by fan sites:

Since it's not eligible for a case review, all you can do is wait it out. I'd recommend reading the Community Standards very carefully to see if you could have posted something that wasn't allowed. For example, a lot of people post that they're looking to buy/sell/trade something in some games, but that's not allowed in LFG posts and can result in a suspension.
