    As of now you cannot color the text of your gamertag or your name appearing in your Xbox Profile. If you want that to happen you can create a new idea or vote on an existing one related to yours here: https://xboxideas.uservoice.com

    I think that would be a great idea maybe for the dashboard. However, there may be complications in implementing it across all games. Many games have various UI designs that may affect how the visibility of text especially when colored. Therefore white
    is simply the easiest color to deal with. If you feel strongly about this you should let Xbox know! https://xboxideas.uservoice.com

    Having a uniform color for GTs is important so people are able to easily read it.

    What does it mean when a gamertag itself is red?

    In my case the first one appears as green.

    I saw a couple of years ago that there was some kind of bug that allows you to change the color of the gamertag. But now that is not possible because the white color of the text is for easier reading.
