Color space

We highly recommend that you leave the color space setting set to
Standard (Recommended). This sets the signal to RGB Limited, which is the broadcast standard for video content and is intended for use with televisions. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/adjust-display-settings. Is this
compatible with my tv? I have sceptre X322BV-SRR.

Thanks all. Sounds like something PS Pro supports but maybe not all HDR monitors and TVs do...

To approximate the HDR experience, I set the color bit-depth to 10, and the color-space to "PC RGB" which I gather just means use the full 0-255 (or 0-1023?) range for each channel.

On my Samsung 4k tv, I set the color-space to "native" and the HDMI black-level to "low" which I gather are the respective settings on the TV.

It isn't the same as the HDR rendering but it's noticeably richer color, deeper blacks etc, and works at 1080p/120hz and 1440p/120hz.

Go to the Xbox settings menu and look at the advanced display settings. Toggle "YCC 4:2:2" and see if it helps with the banding.

Also, if you are using a TV, color space should be set to "Standard". If you are on a monitor, set the color space to "PC RGB".

F5 Penguin

If the TV has HDR, try turning off the HDR settings or turning them on. Perhaps the color space is accurately set up on the Xbox for the TV to display it properly.

1) The color space on my cable box is YCC 4:4:4 (the other option I can select is RGB).

3) The option for "TV Type" on my cable box is 16:9
