    Cold War won’t update or reinstall


    I’ve had Cold War for a little while now and ever since I got it every update has installed without any problems. But now for some reason with this particular update Ive been getting the message: “Sorry, we can’t launch this. The item you’re trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.” So of course that’s what I did and it’s still saying the same thing, it makes no sense to me at all. This is literally my favorite game, basically the only game I play nowadays, somebody please help.

    Btw my console is up to date.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If I may ask, what is the exact error or issue that you're getting whenever you're trying to reinstall the game?

    Also, can you play other games that your cousin owns? In that way we can check if it's an issue with the game or the game sharing itself.

    It’s not an internet connection issue. Other games and updates install just fine. I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall COD: Black Ops Cold War from my library and it says it is corrupt.

    Same things happened to me and my friend. He just had to unintall his Cold War and reinstall it but for me it says installation stopped too. I try to reinstall it and it just says installation stopped over and over again. However the space that Cold War took up on my hard drive is still there so the 100GB+ plus storage it took for Cold War is still missing from my hard drive for some reason. Ive restarted my xbox and uninstalled games for extra space but it still doesn't work
