    Cold War not starting on Xbox Series X/S


    Yesterday, I bought Black Ops Cold War on my Xbox Series X, the Cross-Gen Bundle so I could play it on my Series X. After the installations finished I started up Cold War. I pressed A and it showed the Cold War cover screen for a few seconds then just sent me to the home screen. I tried again and again... the same result. I was thinking that this is a problem only to the next gen console because my friends have no problem loading in on their regular Xbox One. I have the Cross Gen bundle so I don't know why it won't load. If this is the creator's problem, Activision, when will it get fixed, if it is Microsoft's problem, when will it get fixed? I really hope I didn't just waste $50.

    Call of Duty Black ops Upgrade to X/S

    From what I can tell, to access the Series X version of the game, you need the Cross-Gen bundle...once you buy that, you should then be able to download and install the Series X version. Without the cross-gen bundle it will, presumably, just install the XB1 version

    From the Store page:

    "For digital owners of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Standard Edition, this upgrade will unlock the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, giving access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game. After upgrade purchase, search in the Xbox store for the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - Cross-Gen Bundle to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game."

    Yes. Xbox One games will be backwards compatible with the Series S/X. There are also games like Valhalla and Cold War that support Smart Delivery. With Smart Delivery, you can buy the games now on the One and you'll be able to download the Series S/X version
    for free.

    Why are the textures so bad in Warzone 2.0 on Xbox Series S?

    In my opinion the graphic is much better on the one x in WZ2.0 and in Cold War. The Series s is faster and you get a higher framerate, but in 1440p it doesnt look as Good as the one x.
