    Cold War keeps force quitting and shutting Xbox one off


    Why does Cold War keep shutting down my xbox one down? Randomly in games, itll kick me off. Sometimes it even shuts my xbox off all together.

    Is it only happening with cold war?

    Have you checked for any controller updates?

    While connected with a USB cable:

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    Under Profile & system, select Settings.

    Under Devices & connections, select Accessories.

    On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.

    If it says there’s no update available, your controller is current. If it says “Update,” follow the steps provided.

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    Xbox One X Fan on with COD Black Ops Cold War

    I'm having the same issue with cold war. After the fan kicks in the console freezes then shuts off completely. I then have to turn on the console with power button on the console itself. I don't think the game is optimized for the one x. Hopefully a patch
    comes out for this problem soon.
