    Hi All,

    In November I bought the Cold War Physical disc version and paid the extra for the series x and xbox one version - i installed and had been playing successfully on cold war on my xbox one. I have now bought a series s - when i try launching the game it
    asks "do you own this game or app?" - when i select the "check in microsoft store" option it says "you can play this game" - but i can't get around this message asking if i have purchased the game and it will not launch - i am stuck.

    Any answers of how to get it to recognise i purchased the game? Cheers

    I currently have the Xbox One S and the standard edition of Cold War installed. In a few weeks I’m going to get the Xbox Series S and I was wondering if I have to buy the Next gen version for Cold War at it’s full price.

    Yes. Xbox One games will be backwards compatible with the Series S/X. There are also games like Valhalla and Cold War that support Smart Delivery. With Smart Delivery, you can buy the games now on the One and you'll be able to download the Series S/X version
    for free.
