    Cold War installation


    So I had previously installed Cold War from my friend game sharing with me and then deleted to make more space for other games later on. I have tried to reinstall it multiple times since then and have even went to buy the game myself but it won’t let me and when I try to install it, it just sits in my download queue saying installation stopped and ive tried to resume and it just says the same thing over and over again. Anyone know how to fix this?

    I’ve already reset my Xbox, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Taken my friend off as my home Xbox and put him back on. Changed WiFi connection.

    How come when I open call of duty black ops coldwar a pop up appears saying purchase game then another pop up appears saying game already installed but still wont let me play mind you I own this game.

    Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 4

    I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Cold War installation

    Im having the same exact problem and no one has given me an answer that'll help me. I've spent too much time and money on this game for it to stop working because it needed an update. What Microsoft needs to do is learn how to fix things other than coming up with lazy solutions that my dog could've told me.
