    Hello,

    I recently bought a used Xbox One, manufactured in november 2013. It has the coil whining that is well doumented online, e.g. in this video:

    I'm aware I'm waaay out of warranty but I found the information online that Microsoft promised to exchange these consoles because they seem to be faulty (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-09-10-microsoft-pledges-to-replace-recent-batch-of-noisy-xbox-one-consoles).
    Obviously, the previous owner never did this, so I wondered if this still holds up. I'm very willing to pay for shipping and repair, but going through the repair support branch, Microsoft offers an exchange for 157€, which is almost the price of a new one...

    Since there is no support hotline anymore, I'm asking here in the hope for assistance. Thanks from Germany!

    That's where my head is at as well unfortunately, but i think they shouldn't notified owners some how. There's ads all over my dashboard, I'm sure they could've used that space to notify people. Just my opinion obviously. Still interested in a phone call
    though. Know of any way that i can get one?
