    Coil Whine


    Over the past few months I've begun experiencing a loud chirping noise from my OG Xbox One. Because it's obviously out of warranty I ignored it. Sometimes I would do a full shutdown and then the issue would go away for a little while. Also certain apps
    would cause the issue, Disney+ more consistently, but now it's begun happening with games. The real issue is that eventually the console will freeze and then I'm forced to do a hard shutdown.

    Then I found out that this issue had cropped up about 5-6 years ago and MS replaced those consoles for free. Now I'm wondering why they didn't just issue a public recall? This upsets me that I have to either buy a new console or pay an equal amount to
    repair this one. How do I call Xbox Support to talk to them since they've updated their support page and now it's impossible to get the phone number it seems.

    That's where my head is at as well unfortunately, but i think they shouldn't notified owners some how. There's ads all over my dashboard, I'm sure they could've used that space to notify people. Just my opinion obviously. Still interested in a phone call
    though. Know of any way that i can get one?
