Coil Whine At All Times

Hey guys. I'm getting some really bad coil whine whenever I am playing games. The more taxing the game, the more coil whine there is. Do I take my console back, or send it in for repairs? Thanks,

coil whine with latest update

The latest system update from 8/5/2016 has introduced coil whine to my xbox one. Coil whine is a buzzing sound that can be heard from across the room, but only when the system is idle, for example at the home screen. It goes away when the system is being
stressed, for example playing a game. It is also present in instant on mode. This coil whine was not there before the update. From what I have read an update long ago fixed coil whine for many. This most recent update has reintroduced it.

 

Coil Whine louder after update

I updated my Xbox One today. Even before the updating, the coil whine were annoying, but manageable, but after the update it is now very very loud.

I already contacted the microsoft support center, but they just made me lose my time, saying that my console is Brazilian, but my live account is US, and they cannot do anything about it, or they call me at work, asking for me to turn my Console on (like
I am at home 24x7). Isn't the coil whine issue an already known thing, like the 3RL?

How did you solved your coil whine problems? Replacement? Updates? Tech Support?

Sorry to hear about the noise issue! Do you hear the noise coming from the Xbox One console or the power supply? Let's try a power so that we can drain the power and clear the system cache on your Xbox One console. Follow the steps below to power cycle your
Xbox One console!

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Post back and let us know where the noise is coming from or if the power cycle helped!

 

I would also like to know the answer to this question as i have just bought an Xbox one and this happens every time a disc is used to play a game. I can confirm for me that it only happens when i disc is inserted and played, not sitting there or installing.
The noise also stops after you quit the game and stop it from running. I have been told by chat to send it back for repairs but is it easier to return it and get a new console?

 

I also am curious on the answer. Recently bought the Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle (without Kinect) and while the Console itself runs great I noticed my console makes a very faint clicking noise. Sounds like the HDD to me but saw a video of an Xbox One that
makes the same noise(www.youtube.com/watch) and while the owner says it is normal other commenters are saying it's not supposed to sound like that? Would like to know what the support staff thinks. Should I send it in for a replacement unit?

The sound mine is giving AT ALL TIMES is highly prominent at 1:50.

Is Microsoft ever going to fix it, or are they just going to ignore it?
