    Cohesive unity between the Microsoft & Xbox Stores


    I recently tried to purchase a physical game from the Xbox Store but was redirected to the Microsoft Store as only digital copies were available through the Xbox Store.

    Why are there two different stores that more importantly don't communicate cleanly between one another? Why isn't there 1 store to handle ALL gaming related transactions??? This can become (and is) very confusing and I'm sure lost business because of it.
    I should be able to go to one location and select between physical or digital without having to jump through hoops.

    ReCore was the example I was mentioning in this instance. The store runs some pretty good deals but may not be worth the headache of trying to figure out which is which IMO.

    Has anyone else experienced this type of issue? Don't get me started on trying to work with Support for either (left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing).

    no as with all online stores it's different

    Apple store isn't iTunes store nor is sony systore same as psn store

    One deals with physical service and one deals with digital only

    Ms store has restrictions witvat and license

    aXbox store however doesn'thave a physical store

    If you want digital via. Code and physical copy you ml must use ms store if it's available in your region and yes there is code versions

    Xbox store sends the game to you directly via your account completely different

    Same with iTunes store vs apple store

    Apple store give codes for currtency or physical products

    ITunes send stuff to your account that's the difference rcurrto
