Codes for Gears of War 1 and 3 not working

Hi,

I got codes for the Gears of war 4 bundle. Can only get 2 and judgement day.

for GoW 1 and 3 the system keeps telling me "you cannot acquire this item in your current selected language"

Reset my console, changed setting, changed languages, countries, tired VPN, DNS, Xbox.com, Xbox App, etc.

Nothing works!

Please help

I got the 4 codes for the Gears of War collection that came free from purchasing Xbox One S 1TB Gears of War 4. But Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3 codes are not working.

What is your account region and what region are you physically located in? Those games are region locked so in order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the games are available.

 

doesnt matter what you try you must use smwutches method and it's the only method we can tell yiuyiu nor can we tell you how your illegal method has to work

Vpn is a violation of the terms of use

Your language and account region settings and actual location must be the same so no uk language and France location doesn't work

 

I live in Canada.

Can't see a reason why this doesn't work. Set my Xbox region to Canada / US and everything.

I may just go across the border next time I buy gas and redeem the code through my phone when roaming.

 

Try going to Sign in to your Microsoft account and re-entering your information (even if it is correct). You may also try

migrating your account. That has helped some people with this issue.

 

Geoip doesn't consider Canada the same as the us you should know.this already as content from the us doesn't apply to Canada ever due to Canadian laws

For.the best experience with Xbox live your account region must reflect ykur actual region

 

It aint correct he is using an us account while in canada

Which he thinks is the same as the us

Geoips are region not continential

 

Got it! Needed to go to MS commerce and change my Xbox live region to Canada. Codes work fine now.

Interesting enough that you cannot actually see what region your Xbox live is actually set to.
