Codes for Gears of War 1 & 3 not working, Error mentions to change language.

Hi I bought the Gears of War 4 Game on disc which came with codes to redeem for 1,2,3 and Judgement.

Only 2 and Judgement codes worked. 1 and 3 had errors which told me to change my language.

Please assist.

So I bought the Xbox one in the United States and I also bought gears of war four in the United States. I received for redeem codes for gears of war games, Gears 1, 2, 3, and Judgement.

Gears 2 and Judgement got redeemed, but Gears 1, 3 give error.

It's not going through because of region mismatch.

Error:

"You can't acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region in settings or go to microsoft.com//redeem."

Can't redeem some of the Gears of War codes received with console Bundle.

I recently purchased a new Xbox One console which was bundled with Gears of War 4. It also came with all previous Gears of War games via backwards compatibility. I received codes for the previous Gears of War games from Xbox live in my Xbox messages on my
console. I tried to redeem the codes and was only able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgement. Gears of War 1 and 3 don't allow me to redeem them. I get an error saying that I need to change my language settings (which is English). I don't know why I should
change language and even after changing language and location I still received the same error. Please can someone help me to redeem the codes for the two games?

 

Those games are region locked. In order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the game is available for download.

 

HI I bought game in Denmark, my region is Denmark so how is possible that game is region locked.

To which region ? why i can bought i game not working in the region where was bought ?

 

It's best to create your own thread in order to receive proper assistance. The game is available in Denmark so as long as your account region matches your location you should have no issues with it. If you are getting the same error message as in the original
post or an error code like XBOS-3012, you'll want to go to
http://commerce.microsoft.com to make sure your account information is correct and try re-entering your information even if it is correct.
