Typos are the most common reason for code errors, and the following characters aren't accepted: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, and 5. As part of our isolation, please try to redeem it using a different browser such as Microsoft Edge while in incognito / InPrivate mode and use this link:

Important: Before you redeem your code, make sure that you're signed in to the correct Microsoft account on your device or browser. Codes that are redeemed on the wrong account cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account by Xbox Support.

If you’re unable to read all 25 characters of your digital code, you can try chatting with the Code Assist bot. When you begin the chat, enter “damaged code” in the Your question field to get connected.

Note: Take a picture of the front and back of the card, and have proof of purchase such as a picture of the receipt.

You may also contact the retailer where you made your purchase to request a replacement code. Make sure that you provide as much info as possible, including your proof of purchase, the code, and your error.

After doing some research, it appears that Sea of Thieves Ancient Coins, whether purchased or redeemed through the Microsoft platform, are only reflected and usable in the Microsoft Store/Xbox version of the game.

I was trying to show you the two possible codes that didn't work (I think one didn't work, but Xbox seems to think another didn't work) But they hid the codes.

Sorry to hear about what happened. However, you can try redeeming the code again using a different device to see if it will suffice. Kindly also ensure you're connected to a stable internet connection when redeeming your code.

You can also check your order history at accoun.microsoft.com/orders if you were able to redeem it.
