    Recently, I contacted one the xbox online chat

    employees, sent me directly to your support.

    I sent him those gears of war codes Said that you may replace these codes to non region locked.

    I can't redeem the Gears of war and Gears of war 3 code due to region incompatibility.

    Is The Xbox LIVE Code From Amazon Region Locked?

    Yes 12 month codes are region free - some 12 +1 cards are region locked.

    MS points are Region locked

    A problem with the activation of gift codes Gears of War

    The codes are universal so they are not region locked. Gears 1 and 3 are region locked. So if your account region does not match your physical location, that will give you issues redeeming the codes.

    Sorry but you were given incorrect information. The codes themselves are universal, but the games are region locked. In order for you to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the games
    are available.

    What region are you in? What region is your account set for?

    If your Xbox account is set up for the region you're in, you should be able to tell by searching for the game on your console. If it shows as available to purchase, then it is available.

    Tataki. Gold sub cards are not region locked, should be the same with digital codes as well as long as it is a sub code. POINT codes are region locked though.

    If the code is region locked there is no way around it. It would have to be redeemed in the region it is meant for. If the code is for a game and the game itself is region locked, then your account region and your physical location would also have to match
    that region.
