Code Vein on Xbox Games Pass multiplayer issues?

Tried for a few hours to connect with anyone at all, and specifically with my spouse, but it seems almost like the multiplayer just doesn't work in general. Anyone had any issues/fixes?

Same issue for me. There is no fix yet. I waste a lot of time thinking it was the configuration...

ikr some of us even rather buy the gamepass to play some games in it specially coop and then those coop games dont work waste of 10€ well not 100% but still a huge waste if you brought it to play code vein together :/

Gonna try this and will update the post accordingly. I had a recent similar issue with Phogs! and solved in a slightly similar manner. I think that's the trick.

The solution is you gotta add your friend on the xbox app to your party and when they join you then you can open the game and try to find each other, i tried and it works that way. when i added him to my party on the xbox app and opened the game and tried it again it worked, besides that i would not work. That must be why they did not say anything.
