hi all

i was updating a xbox 360s from a fat32 usb when the following occurred

system update stopped

can't read the update from your storage device. please reinsert it to continue the update

if the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.

status code:4451-4476-B600-0F00-C000-02B6

I tried reinserting device even tried a different storage device.

any Ideas thanks

HI,

I got this status code: 4451-445E-B600-0F00-C000-02B6 code

The message says can't read the update from storage device.

Any ideas on what I can do with this?

Hi there,

since the error code is very closely to a different one with a similar description please try all the steps showing on this support page:
Error C000-0286 | Xbox 360 Error Codes

Since you were trying to do an offline update, I suggest trying the online update first and if it fails be sure to format the usb device and try all the steps again (if an online update fails)

If none of the steps work, then the only option left is to have the console repaired (if it is still supported, since not all 360 console are supported anymore)

thanks for your feedback, it was helpful but i manage to get my company tech to have a quick look,

he re-downloaded the file and use a new stick.

from what he could tell that the file that i downloaded was getting corrupted.

i hope this reply can help others out there

Probably it was just a question of formatting the storage you were using.
