Code redemption issue

Today I called in and spoke with some customer support people trying to figure out why my daughter's Xbox live account that was redeemed in January was no longer working. The first lady I spoke to didn't understand what I was saying and
her manager attempted to help but there was nothing anyone could do. Then we spoke to Charles who was very competent and understanding of our situation. He looked at her account in several different ways to try and help us but he could not.
He couldn't see any of the codes she redeemed whatsoever. So I attempted to put in the same 14 day trial code in again and her Xbox said it had already been redeemed. Yet Charles couldn't see it as redeemed at all and said that it was still a good code.
I have a feeling that somewhere along the line the 12 month code we initially called about somehow disappeared in cyberspace and even if someone DID have it, it wouldn't work anyway. Please research this matter to avoid it from happening to other users in
the future.

When you log into the account on
account.microsoft.com and look under the Subscriptions and Services tab you should see the Xbox Live subscription. Do you see the sub there and if so, what does the expiration date say?

Are you trying to add a 14 day trial to an account that already has 12months on it?

When I checked that it gives a link to gold. The problem is that it worked for about a month after we entered the code but now it doesn't. The 14 day code was used prior to that. Microsoft stated that they couldn't see ANYTHING redeemed on her account
at all. Yet she still has a friends list n all that stuff. So I have no idea at this point.

So if you redeemed a code and got content for the 360 then it was supposed to be content for the 360. So if you unfortunately got a wrong code mailed by gamestop please get back to them to get the right code for the one as this is their business.
