Code redemption appears successful, but Live is not activated

    Code redemption appears successful, but Live is not activated


    I have now attempted to enter two activation codes for Xbox Live Gold on my Xbox One. One was for a 2-day trial that came with my charge-n-play controller, the other was a 14-day trial that came with a new game. In both cases, I entered the codes on the
    Xbox, through the screen that says "Learn about Gold subscriptions". The codes are valid and I am asked to confirm. Upon pressing "confirm", I am taken back to the subscription screen and it still only shows the "Lean about Gold subscriptions" button and it
    appears I still do not have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. Please help, this is very frustrating.

  3. Can you like hurry up and fix the issues with redeeming codes?

    Also forgot to add, the code was activated as it says "Activation Successful" on my reciept.

    Note that when I enter those codes again through the website, it claims that they have already been used.

    I am having similar issues... website shows gold already activated, i try to play titanfall and it wants me to purchase gold, basically my profile is not gold activated when it says that it is. How can this be fixed.. very frustrating!!!

    Well, I spent over an hour on live chat support, giving in all kinds of information, including the codes themselves, photos of the cards to prove that I bought the codes and everything else. The issue was supposed to be escalated. Haven't heard back in a
    couple of hours.

    So I called phone support and according to that guy they have been having trouble with a lot of the trial codes (14 days and under). My issue has been escalated and I'll have to wait for the escalation team to contact me to resolve this.

    I asked him if I could use my 12-month code without worrying that the same thing happened and he assured me that this problem is specific to the trial cards.

    Code redemption appears successful, but Live is not activated

    Have you tried playing on Live? Trial cards do not change your account status to gold. They just give you access to some aspects of online multiplayer. If they are working, you would know by being able to play online.

    I didn't check that. I ended up using my 12-month code so no way to check it now. If what you're saying is the case, then the dashboard does a really poor job of indicating (e.g. it provides NO indication) that your trial is active. Given that the xbox support
    guy knew of this issue, there may be more to it than just that.

    Smwutches is correct. When a trial code is used it does not put your gamertag into a Gold status but only gives limited access to Gold features.

    Also, trial cards do not stack so when you added two different trial cards one has been used up and will no longer work for you. I'm not sure if it will be the 2 day or 2 week code that stuck with your account.
