Code not redeemable

hi

got message from xbox live that i had a code as part of game pass promo for a film tried redeeming code on console and pc and both say ‘contact who the code came, we cant redeem it’

any help would be great

I have purchased the gears of war 4 and I received free codes for the other games which I have played on 360 as well, so I was really excited to play those games again on another console. Unfortunately one of the codes does not seem to be working. I have redeemed
the code for gow 2, but the download never appeared in the list, I tried the code again but it said this code had already been redeemed.
How can I find this game in my inventory so I could download it?

I'm sorry to hear about the current issue you may be experiencing with a code not redeemable. Did the code come in an Xbox Live Message? If so, the promotional messages sent through Xbox Live at time do have Expiration codes. Have you tried the steps on
this troubleshooting page,
"Troubleshoot Xbox prepaid code issues ? If the problem persists, please
Contact Customer Support.

At this point, as stated above, I recommend
