    What is the user trying to do when they get that error? it seems you are missing the last 4 digits of the error code.

    Hi there,

    Remeeming errors are usually caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check your billing information at http://billing.microsoft.com and after that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

    If it is still not working properly please use http://support.xbox.com/error-code-lookup to search for any steps regarding the errorcode you are receiving.

    If nothing is found then specify the full actual error message (and errorcode) you are receiving when trying to redeem the prepaid code they can help to determine a possible cause.

    Side note: Do not post any prepaid codes etc on the forums

    Hi,

    If you're getting this error message in attempt to redeem your 12- Month Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, this most likely means that the code was not properly activated at the time of purchase from the retailer that you purchased the card from. This could've happened
    due to many reasons.

    I would suggest you contact Xbox Support to have them check and verify if the code was activated or not. If not, I would suggest you contact the retailer and or follow the steps from Xbox Support. You may chat when them anytime here: contact-us
