CODE NOT FOUND: COD AW

So I like many others rushed home after picking up our day zero xbox one call of duty bundle only to find that the code can't be found. The other bonus codes worked but not the main game. I have XBL Gold, I triple checked the code and tried it over a dozen
times. I am in the United States, tried on the console and website and got same error. This is unbelievably frustrating. I can only sympathize with those for whom this was their only game to play. It seems like the code might not be day zero. I really hope
Microsoft finds a way to make it up to us for *** up one of the most anticipated launches of the year. I should have just bought the darn disc.

Same Issue here. Got the code with the day one console. game code doesnt work! New xbox one and nothing to play! ARGGGGGGG

 

Same issue. Entered the code correctly many times and just says "code not found". I bought the COD special edition xbox one and there it sits like a $500 paper weight.

Im still having this problem even though microsoft said it should be fixed and day zero is almost over. Really *** off, any body know how to get it to work or are we still waiting??

 

We are still waiting but they are at least now posting updates and recognizing the issue on the status page:

I just spoke with a rep on the Xbox Support chat, she told me it should work within 2-4 hours... but that doesn't really help considering we all bought this right away so we could play earlier, and in 2-4 hours the night will be over... fantastic.

 

Those 2-4 hours are when everyone eventually logs out and the servers ease up. They didn't prepare for the "day zero" they were selling. Seriously, this is bad.

 

Yeah they didn't even think about this. I spoke to both Activision and now Xbox again, and all they keep telling me is it's the other one's fault and they're doing the best they can. I was even told by the latest rep that "there are other free games you
can play while you wait for us to work on the situation". It's just ridiculous.

Super not happy about this. Clearly it was the wrong code in the bundles. It just let me start download now. They had better have a plan to make this right, dropped $500 and didn't even get to see the game, and definitely didn't get any 2XP. I live on the
East Coast of the U.S. Day Zero just rolled into Day One.

 

This is a blatant false advertising mistake. Next thing you know they'll be telling us it's the regular edition all along and you get the console on day zero, but not the game. You know that's how they'll play this...

 

I am super dissapointed in their handling of this matter.
