    Trying to redeem my Gold Membership....

    Romania is not supported by Live. So if the code was made for another region and is region locked, it will not work.

    Error codes are not received. If the game is not available in our region, then the money is not removed. And this game took off. If it is for another region, what to do? And how do we know that it is for another region?

    Sorry to hear it. Currency codes can only be used for the regions in which they were intended. You'll need to check to make sure that your gamertag and/or console are set for the proper region or contact the person you got the code from for more assistance.

    Unfortunately nothing can be done at this point. The region of a code cannot be changed.

    If it was a friend who gifted you a code he needs to refund it and buy from a local etailer for you

    Gifting has always been region locked
