Code for 12 month Xbox Gold Memebership bought at online-gold.de was stolen/used by somebody ...

Hallo Forum,

we bought a Code to extend our Memebership for 12 more month. We bought it in September as a birthday gift but didn't have to use it right away.

Now that we wanted to use it, it has been used already. We can proof that we haven't used it but the ebay seller online-gold persists that it was used October 20th.

Does anybody know how we can contact admins at XBox so they can check who used our code?

I suspect that it was stolen through hacking or by use of Code generators.

Has anyone had the same experience and if so what did you do?

JUst bought a 3 month Gold membership for $10 at Dell. Dont normally play online and never bought a pre-paid memebership. Do these things have a expiration date.? If I dont hop online for 6 months or a year or so and decide to use code to play online
will the code still be good?

yea cdkeys 95% of the time is good from what I hear its some of the sellers have been caught using stolen keys or bought steam keys using stolen cc's ala the origin fiasco a few months ago

 

If you haven't done so already, you would have to continue working with the ebay seller or file a claim through ebay. Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes so there would be nothing support can do other than tell you whether the code has
been used or not, but they could not tell you by who.
