Code dont work

Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at http://billing.microsoft.com and also check http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be
sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that the Xbox Live account, the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us they can do a more indepth look into this issue.

What is the code for? Is it for an Xbox 360 game or an Xbox One game? What console are you using to play this content on? Some things you can try while you gather the answers to Smwutches' questions:

• Making sure your Xbox Live account region matches your physical location
• If it's an Xbox 360 code, be sure you have a proper payment method and address on your
  Microsoft Account
• Try redeeming on the console vs the website (or vice versa)

What is the code for? Have you tried redeeming it on both the console and the website? Do you also receive an error code?

i would also like to know if a code would work. because if the card dont work but i can still go out and buy a code and i know it will work then i would be happy to do that, i just dont want to buy a code and it not work
