    Hi,

    A friend just gifted me a code for the Jurassic park DLC from Rocket League,when I tried to redeem the code they said that the code was bought in a different region. So what I have to do? They told me to ask the vendor to give me another code. (The DLC was
    bought directly from the XBOX Store)

    IS DLC region locked

    well thats a given

    prepaid dlc codes are region locked to the account region so if you get japanese code and you have an american account then it will be invalid

    blackops dlc in particular is region locked to the physical region and the region it was purchased in

    Ok question are you getting the same regional codes for your account region subscription and dlc codes should always be purchased from your actual region

    That would be why dlc codes are all region locked to the region they were purchased in

    Regional lock rules applies to dlc if the game requires a us address that would be why too mass effect may not have region locked but mass effect us codes can only be redeemed in a us account
