Code 0x80070005

I bought call of duty black ops 4 two days after the release. I played it for about a week and then it wouldn't launch. I hard restarted and still nothing. Now the game says that it cannot install. I get the error 0x80070005. I have removed my profile, re-added
it. I have cleared my xbox and tried everything to reinstall it. I have over 1TB of memory so that's not the problem. I have reached out for help over a dozen times and still nothing. I'm pretty upset at this point.

I have been having trouble on xbox one when trying reinstall Fortnite. I deleted the game at first because it kept stopping the installion. Then when i try to reinstall the game it gives me a error message saying “Page could not be loaded. Please try again
later.” I try to click on the game and it is still not working and it wont let me reinstall it.

Have you tried a
Soft factory reset, also uninstall and reinstall game? Just few suggestions that are not in the Error code troubleshooting.

options left. You can perform a
full factory reset on your console. Before going that route, you may want to consider

requesting assistance from the developers as well.

I did a full factory reset. I put a my games on an external hard drive and then fully reset it. Sti nothing worked.

Is Black Ops 4 the only game that is giving you an install error?

I would try another game to give it a try.

 

Ive installed and updated other games. Black ops 4 is the only one not working. I've reached out to activision and still have heard nothing. At this point I just want my money back but they wont refund it to me.

I have contacted customer support. They could not help either.

 

So I have reached out to everyone possible. I've requested a refund. I am seriously done with this. It has been almost two weeks since I have been able to play a game that I have paid for. It is listed on my account as COMPLETED. I have paid for the game
and it will not download. All of my other games are downloading and updating properly.

I need help and no one is helping me. I'm tired of this.
