    Hello Dear Support Team,

    i experience the 0x8007002 failure code when launching XBox 360 compatible titels on my new XBox one x. I have bought two games (never owned a 360 XBox), in my case its Fight Night Champion and GTA 4 (They are on the Compatibility List). They fail right
    after start with this message: something went wrong (0x80070002) Try again.

    I have everything tried i have found on the net:

    hard reset, deleting and re - installing - right time settings in my profiles on PC and Xbox and Microsoft Account, offline update install on the XBox one x and the solution with the DNS Settings - deleting xbox 360 profile - nothing worked. My other titles
    like Fifa 20 or Forza Horizon 4 are working without problems.

    Should i buy a 360 and try on this or is this only a Software Problem, i have seen on youtube that it must work...

    Is anything i can do or is a new update in the pipeline...please help or give me some advise what i can do.

    Try Power Cycle - https://support.xbox.com/pt-BR/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console.
    Press and hold the Xbox Logo on your console for about 8-10 seconds until the console shuts off.

    If that can't solve try

    Go to Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Network Settings.

    Then go to DNS Servers and set it to Manual.

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4



    After you have changed your settings and are connected to internet, go to the homescreen and turn off your xbox, reload it then sign in and try to start up the game.

    Hah today it works. I have done nothing. Just starting After work and now its ok. 2 days Not working and now ok.

    i have done this, power cycling and the DNS thing wont work for me...i have no clue whats going on...

    Actually, AndesiteLol was referring to the Launch Title for the Xbox 360, not the 2012 title.
