COD4

Who ever said CoD4 wasn't perfect, you are wrong. CoD4 was/is the perfect CoD game. The best of the rest. I would still be playing CoD4 but the community is growing smaller and the hackers are growing....taller? CoD4 FTW.

[/quote]This. MW 2, and Call of Duty overall for that matter, were ruined for me by the rampant cheating and modding. Even though dedicated servers eventually get shut down the benefit of having no cheating makes them the better choice

i've got the same problem. i'm a regular player, legit console and game, never tried to hack games, because a like challenges. those cheaters have their rights to do so, but it should be done among them. wanna cheat? cheat. but with cheaters, not real players.

after doing read a bunch of stuff about it on the internet, i've contacted Activision and ask them to solve the problem. the answer was "I'm very sorry for the frustration you are having with not being able to play online in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

since that inconvenience started to happen more than a year ago [according to the complaints i could find] and they STILL can't do nothing, i'm starting to believe that there's no legit solution except creating another profile. in the other hand, you can
join a modded level that will increase your XP and rank way much faster.

i'll leave one question for you guys: if the hackers can do stuff like that, why the guy who coded and actually MADE the game cannot fix it?

Another reasons I do not buy Cod games anymore, they release the same product with a few extra things every year without fixing anything and people buy them like crazy, despite the fact that MW3 is the SAME thing has Cod4 which has been exploited to hell
and back. It's only a matter of time until people finally wise up and this franchise dies off, leaving the FPS market a much better place. It really makes me wonder when the hackers will destroy MW3 once it comes out like they've done with Cod4, WaW and MW2
(Not sure about BO, never played it).
