COD WW2 not allowing me to play

Hi. So my COD ww2 will not allow me to even go into any part of the game except a few loading screens. Basically what happens is that I launch ww2, then it goes through the loading screen with all the developers, which goes to the loading screen that says
COD WW2 and allows you to press A (join the fight). After I do this however, my game goes to another black basic COD WW2 loading screen and then quits out and brings me back home. This is extremely frustrating. At first I thought it was an issue with the servers,
since this started happening right after the big update on July 31 (days of summer) was put out. However, several of my friends who were also experiencing issues at first have now been able to play. I want to be able to play in this update and not have to
wait for the next big one for it to possibly work again. If anyone has any reason why this might be happening that would be of great help, and if anyone has any ways to fix it I would appreciate it very much. Thank you

Xbox Game-Sharing Problem

So i was gamesharing cod ww2 with my friend and then i decided to gameshare with somebody else. so my friend gameshared ww2 and other games with me but when i try to play cod ww2 now, it asks me if i own this game or app. what do i do?

Delete the game, restart the console and download the game again

 

Hi! Before deleting the game you should give the power cycle/hard reset a try first as this is a common solution for a variety of issues: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

 

Thanks, i feel like that may be my only option but I'm reluctant to because I'm not sure I have enough space on my xbox

 

I've turned my xbox on and off many times since this began, its been like a week or so. I just tried the power cable one and nothing.

 

Power cycle/hard reset is different from a normal restart as the restart most likely won't help. Follow this link and perform the hard reset as described: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console
