COD WW2 freezing and console issues

Hi,

I purchased a new Xbox One S two weeks ago and have been extremely disappointed with how many issues I've had. I played Xbox and Xbox 360 for years and loved how easy and seamless everything was.

My latest issue is that every time I round a certain corner on COD WW2 campaign, my screen freezes and I'm taken back to the Home page of my xbox. A new xbox, on a new game disc, on a new 4K tv. Can someone let me know why this may be happening (I've tried
restarting the game, then console, even going back to1080p settings)? Any advice would really be appreciated.

It seems at the moment I'm spending more time waiting for updates, load times, and trying to fix issues and console restarts than actually playing a supposedly state of the art console. I'm consistently signed out for no apparent reason among other things. I'm
close to the point of where I'm just going to return my console and accessories for a refund and be done with Xbox for good.

This is starting to piss me off it keeps freezing on multiplayer on war 2xp im at over 4K points on this part alone this is rediculous I’ve probably lost a good 40 k points bc it keeps freezing

 

Xbox x freezing

I am having the same issue. Can't get through parts of COD WW2, because of the freezing. Yes, mine makes that sound also, then kicks me back to start game over. I've reinstalled, rebooted, nothing helps. It always happens in the same spots.

 

I just purchased a new Xbox One X and having the exact same issue while playing Call Of Duty WW2. The game freezes and makes a annoying sputtering sound before it kicks you out and start over again cannot complete the first level of this game.

This is a pain in the you know what people.....

 

I have the Xbox One X scorpio addition and it is doing the same thing to me as well..

 

Same problem here. Sometimes is freezes and returns to the home screen, some times the xbox freezes. It is happening on a xbox one x.

This makes playing not doable. I am returning to my ps4 pro to many issues on xbox one x. No replies from Microsoft. They offer me to send it back for repair, but i have already doen that and had to wait 3 weeks but They didnt solve the issue. Not going to
send it back again. Never xbox for me again..

 

Hi,

Looking at the other replies I think the issue is with game itself and not with the Xbox.

You can try to delete the game and redownload it, but like I said it looks like a game issue.
