COD World at war 2

I heard a rumor that there making one. what do you guys think, I would love a world war 2 game. Now this is just rumor so take it with a very little grain of salt.

I doubt it was a rumor. Morse code was used very frequently during the World Wars, and the roman numerals are identical to the same numerals on the World at War 2 poster.

I'd take this with a boulder of salt, but I'm craving a good WWII shooter like a tiger craves meat. After Advanced Warfare, it'll be Treyarch again in the dev cycle, and breaking the trend of future-modern shooters would be a welcome change.

 

While I would welcome a trip back to WWII, I would like to say a real future COD. Not this pseudo future with advanced tech and set in 2021. Let's take a giant leap and see true Sci fi. Laser guns, cyborgs, outer space, that jazz.

 

If they bring back competitive co-op count me in.

 

I'd definitely like to see a return to WWII. I enjoyed WaW so I'm hoping this one is true.

 

I have no interest in WW2 what so ever. So that makes me even less interested in Call of Duty than usual.

 

WaW is the best of the series by far, and the last one i purchased, would def buy another WW2 one

Modern warfare is way more overdone then WW2 ever was

Hoping Battlefield goes back to WW2 at some stage also

 

WAW Campaign was absolutely amazing imo, Easily the best story for any war game last gen. So many other battles and situations with WW2 that could be reproduced by Treyarch. I'm glad we have Sniper Elite 3 but WAW was just the darkest of dark stories from
that era.

 

WaW was good, but the mp40 juggernoob combo was OP and gamebreaking

 

I don't know why they just don't do expansion packs, BF Bad Co 2 had the Vietnam pack, we an arcade title called BF 1943 on the Xbox 360, I would settle for those or other ideas as DLC with the newer titles.

 

I've been hoping for a world war 2 for 5 years. I have no interest in COD becoming a futuristic shooter. We already have Halo, Titanfall, Battlefront and Destiny. I don't want lazerbeams in COD, I dont want men in space suits who can fly through the
air. I like COD because it is 'realistic'.

How many new WW2 shooters are coming out? There is an opening in the market. Call of Duty 2 and WaW were excellent games, why has it taken so long for another? Saying ww2 is played out is outdated. It's been 7 cod releases since we last saw a ww2 shooter.

I really enjoy Modern warfare, but it needs a change from the current cycle of modern warfare to slightly futuristic.

I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a treyarch game since War at War so I would love to see them go that direction. Bring back the original Nazi zombies, bring back 'war', flamethrowers, the gib effect, unscoped bolt action rifles. Bring back the browning/bar/thompson/gewehr/type/garand/ppsh.
Bring in a new kill streak - kamikazees!

It's time to go back to the classics.
